# Memory

> One shared memory of every brand, campaign, and result — so your team and your AI run ads from context instead of starting from scratch every time.

Memory is what makes Sapt more than a pile of integrations. Every brand detail, campaign, and result lives in one place, and everyone who works the account — a teammate or an AI assistant — starts already knowing the business.

The promise is simple: **run ads from memory, not from scratch.** No re-explaining the brand to every new hire or every new chat.

## A Project is the memory for one account

In Sapt, a **Project** is the shared memory for a single brand, client, or ad account. It holds everything that belongs together:

| In the memory | Examples |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Brand context** | Voice, offers, audience, differentiators, and the claims to avoid |
| **Goals** | What this account is trying to improve, and how success is measured |
| **Campaign history** | What's been run, what worked, and what didn't |
| **Results** | Performance and outcomes after the click, not just clicks |
| **Records & notes** | People, companies, assets, and operating knowledge |

People often call a Project a workspace. Same thing — the home where one account's work and context live.

## Everyone starts with context

The memory is read and written by your whole team and by any AI assistant connected through the [MCP connector](/docs/mintlify/mcp/overview). That means:

* A new assistant answers in your brand voice on the first message.
* Onboarding a teammate doesn't mean re-teaching the account.
* An agent can recall past decisions, results, and account history across conversations — not just what's in the current chat.

## How the memory gets filled

Memory starts at intake and grows as you work. Good onboarding turns scattered information into structured context:

* **Business details** — services, locations, and account basics.
* **Brand context** — voice, audience, offers, proof, and visual guidance.
* **Goals & approvals** — what to improve, and who signs off on customer-facing work.
* **Assets** — logos, URLs, examples, and existing content.

Keep it practical. The goal isn't to capture every possible detail; it's to capture the details that make the next campaign better.
